DSI’s Biannual DoD/VA & Government HIT Summit will bring together leaders from across the VA, DHA, DoD, federal government, and relevant industry stakeholders to explore the successes and challenges of implementing and maintaining a unified, interoperable federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This spring’s event will also discuss innovative technologies and solutions to enhance healthcare delivery and quality for Veterans and active-duty service members.
IDGA's Veterans Affairs Healthcare Summit is now in its 19th iteration and is an industry-wide staple for those supporting the VA’s mission set. Their partners across the military, government, private and non-profit healthcare sector, academia and consultant communities have consistently made this event a marquee gathering for senior stakeholders, technology experts, industry innovators, clinicians, nurses and administrators. The Summit regularly hosting over 500+ attendees, this engagement opportunity will provide those leaders across the VA Healthcare ecosystem the chance to learn, share, and connect with our nation’s veterans to improve health outcomes, care access, and delivery.
Serving as a signature event for the 11th year, NVSBE is a great example of the Department’s commitment to enable Veteran-owned small businesses, and firms in other disadvantaged business categories, to gain access to economic opportunity by leveraging the federal procurement system and expanding participation of procurement-ready small businesses.
NVSBE brings together more than 3,000 participants from the government, small and large businesses, and Veteran-focused associations and service organizations. As a key destination of NVSBE, the exhibit hall hosts more than 200 businesses to showcase their products and services to NVSBE registrants.
This meeting is attended by general, oncologic, peripheral vascular, endovascular, thoracic, cardiac, wound care, and critical care surgeons as well as anesthesia providers from VA hospitals throughout the United States. Many university-based surgeons, surgery residents, and medical students from programs with VA affiliations typically attend this meeting. We anticipate approximately 180 surgeons and 20 exhibitors will attend.

The Association of VA Hematology and Oncology (AVAHO) exists to increase the skills and abilities of veteran-centered cancer care professionals across all disciplines so they can provide the best possible care for our veterans. Our current membership of nearly 1,300 professionals is comprised of medical oncologists and hematologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pharmacists, nurses, nurse practitioners, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, physician assistants, social workers, cancer registrars, and other allied health professionals. AVAHO provides opportunities for networking, strengthen the educational activities, and improve the research capabilities among VA Hematology/Oncology professionals.
The Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS) is an annual three-day conference, sponsored by the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Conference attendees are comprised of government, military, and industry health care IM/IT professionals. This year’s theme — Reimagining Suicide Prevention: Evolving and Innovating to Meet Diverse Needs — focuses on innovative ways to increase the reach to at-risk Service member and Veteran populations, especially including historically underserved and growing populations such as women, LGBTQ+, or American Indian and Alaska Natives.
