Indianapolis VA Medical Center Deploys Suicide Prevention Manager

VA facility adopts solution built to facilitate real-time care and save Veteran lives

JUNO BEACH, Fla. (SEPTEMBER 28, 2021) — Today Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS, Inc.) announced that the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana will deploy its Iconic Data Suicide Prevention Manager (SPM) solution.  

SPM empowers suicide prevention coordinators with real-time data and process automation to better protect Veterans at a high risk for suicide. Rather than sifting through mountains of data looking for issues, suicide prevention coordinators remain focused on managing patient care and performing Veteran outreach. SPM monitors care pathways and streamlines workflows, saving critical time and making it easier to identify Veterans who require immediate intervention.

SPM supports the VA in its journey to become a High Reliability Organization – a major initiative for the VA – by helping to reduce costly human error. SPM tracks care processes and care quality in real time.
