DSS, Inc. Solutions Achieve Widespread VA Adoption in FY 2021
Long-Time VA Partner Expands Presence at National Level and with a Wide-Range of VAMCs
For more than 30 years, DSS, Inc. has been a trusted partner to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), delivering innovative solutions that improve care quality and delivery for our Veterans, and this legacy continues today.
Since 1994, the company has been providing and sustaining solutions for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). In government Fiscal Year (FY) 2021, the company saw the widest adoption of its solutions at both the national level and with regional VAMCs.
Overall, the company received over 90 new software purchases at a large number of VAMCs throughout the country, as well as six national contract renewals and one new national contract. Here’s a partial snapshot of rapid adoption of DSS, Inc.’s federal health innovations in FY 2021:
National Contract Renewals: The company received national-level account renewals for its Caribou CLC Suite, Dental Record Manager Plus (DRMPlus), Insurance Capture Buffer (ICB), Mental Health Suite (MHS), and Release of Information (ROI); Logistics & Prosthetics Suite (LPS).
New National Contract: DSS, Inc. also received VA national contract for its VistA Integration, Revenue, and Reporting (VIRR) solution, an end-to-end revenue cycle management solution that helps to streamline inpatient reporting, as well as auditing compliance and coding compliance workflows.
TheraDoc: Eleven (11) new VAMCs purchased or implemented the company’s TheraDoc solution, an industry leading software decision support tool that provides real-time electronic clinical surveillance for antimicrobial stewardship and infectious disease treatment.
LiveData PeriOp Manager: Twenty (20) new VAMCs purchased or implemented the DSS, Inc. LiveData PeriOp Manager solution to help their surgical staffs maximize efficiency, manage and track capacity, and improve both surgical performance and patient safety.
Consult Tracking Manager Plus (CTM Plus): Twenty six (26) new VAMCs purchased or implemented the company’s CTM Plus, which streamlines workflows and provides oversight to resolve consult and Return to Clinic (RTC) tracking pain points, and ensures that patients are called and scheduled on time.
In addition, DSS, Inc. launched a wide-range of new solutions that support the VA’s journey to becoming a High Reliability Organization (HRO), as well as enhance overall care coordination:
Iconic Data Patient Case Manager (PCM): This new solution offers real-time data and analytics, for greater oversight and more effective, standardized workflows for shift changes and patient handoffs.
Iconic Data Suicide Prevention Manager (SPM): This integrated care coordination platform injects real-time data into key suicide prevention workflows to improve quality of care and increase situational awareness.
Comprehensive Care Coordination (C3): This new solution helps the VA reduce avoidable readmissions through real-time patient surveillance, alerting, documentation and reporting.
Diasyst: This new solution empowers care teams to more immediately and impactfully manage Veterans suffering from chronic diseases, from anywhere, in one place.
